Q&As and Ask an Expert

Is my buyer likely to get a mortgage?

4 weeks ago - Posted by

Our house is under offer to a buyer who was listed as a disqualified director in an insolvency case in February 2018. The original web-link showing he owed HMRC £250k has now disappeared. He has told us he needs a small mortgage. How can we find out if he can get one or if he still owes HMRC this money?
