Hi Maria

The simple answer is no they cannot take property that isn’t owned by the person that owes the money.

However, as PlayStations can be owned by adults, they may not assume immediately it is yours child’s, but if it was in the child’s bedroom, it may look more obviously the child’s toy.

However, it is also worth remembering that bailiffs cannot come into your home, normally, unless you let them in or they can let themselves in through an unlocked door or window.
