Hi Maxine
It depends on what sort of debt they are pursuing your son for, but normally bailiffs cannot force entry into locked premises. Usually they can only force entry if the Debt is unpaid income tax or VAT, or they have peacefully gained entry before.
However, assuming that is not the case with your Son, providing the property is locked up, they should not be able to gain entry.
This doesn’t mean the issue can be ignored, as if they cannot gain access they may consider other means of enforcing the debt that could include applying for his bankruptcy.
