Sounds like you need to have a chat with him Gina.
The lenders should be doing affordability checks, but without knowing what he is putting on the application forms, it’s hard to say why he is getting them.
For his sake, you should have a chat with him, as this is not sustainable if he is using them and doesn’t have the ability to repay them.
You should point this out and that he may damage his credit rating and ability to get credit again in future.
Also, if he is living with you, what happens when he cannot repay his debts?  Do debt collectors start sending letters or telephoning the house?
It’s unfortunate, but true, that there are unscrupulous firms that target young people. Make sure he understands the dangers and risks.
