There are some rules and restrictions if you have a DRO, such as being unable to promote, manage or set up a limited company without seeking permission from the court. There isn’t anything written within the Insolvency Act that stops you from being a carer if you use a Debt Relief Order (DRO). Being a carer could mean different things, it could be the care of a family member, could be as an employee or could be self employed offering care facilities so you may need to take additional advice on the requirements and restrictions of being a carer.
