Firstly i'm not a police officer or recruiter so i don't know for certain. It may well vary from force to force as well because they are separate entities.

If there is a county court judgment on your credit file it will show up when your background is vetted and you will certainly be asked about court judgements in the financial section of your application form.

If you have an unsatisfied court judgment I understand this could be prejudicial to you becoming a police officer.

I doubt that having a satisfied court judgment would but you should check with your recruitment department- it will show up on your vetting anway so you aren't damaging your application by doing this. There may well be an anonymous helpline in your application pack.

I might be able to do some more research about this but if you have any questions about your credit rating.
