if a judge forces a sale due to i cannot pay my ex 15k is he likely to do this? child involv

I sold my house of 18yrs have a child,. to buy a plot of land with partner, i bought everything else groundworks, caravan etc. elec. he now wants his money back for the land, he ended our relationship. can only come up with 30k which leaves 15k to pay his solicitor is getting me into court to force a sale.
