we have a child aged 13 who is ill with chrones disease, we have no other assets, the caravan is in my name only, 22,000 of the debt is mine, both myself and my husband have been made bankcrupt,

As you have already been made bankrupt you need to speak to your official receiver to see what has already been decided should happen with regards to the caravan.

Any asset that is owned will be looked into by the official receiver or trustee in bankruptcy (this is the person who looks after your bankruptcy). They will however be mindful of your current situation.

In this instance it is only the official receiver or trustee in bankruptcy who will be able to answer this question for certain for you.

As you have both been made bankrupt already then you should speak immediately to the Official Receiver who is administering your finances who can advise you further.
