In IVA - new creditor appeared

i am currently 3 years into an iva and another debtor whom i had no knowledge of is trying to obtain settlement to a debt. can they do this / or will it have to be added on to my current iva. answers quick please as i am frantic with worry

The key question is whether the debt was incurred before or after your meeting of creditors and the approval of the IVA. Why did you have no knowledge of it?

If it was incurred since your IVA it almost certainly can't.

If it is an old debt it may be possible to include it in the IVA but you need to get advice from your supervisor.
