Have IVA for three years not happy with practitioner

I have been on an IVA for nearly three years have not missed a payment but this last 8 months I have only been able to pay the minimum amount as have been made redundant and widowed in the same six months.
I am now being threatened by bankruptcy as they say I am in breech of my IVA I think I have been badly treated and according to the companies forums I am not alone.
Can I ask to see list of creditors and addresses and amounts owed
After all I have suffered this is about the end surely paying for three years out of five counts for something Please help

Re: Have IVA for three years not happy with practitioner

3 years out of 5 certainly counts for something, it would be a shame to give up on your IVA now. It sounds like you have been through the mill.

Unfortunately you can't change your IP mid arrangement, without court involvement and quite a lot of expense. Maybe this will change in the future. You need to talk to your IP and sourt out your problems with them or their staff.

You should get an annual report showing how your IVA is functioning. You can certainly request that information. The fees should be clearly set out in your original proposal.

It just shows how important it is to get the right advice at an early stage. If you're IVA isn't working for you - you should request a variation to change your payments.

At the Debt Advice Foundation we only work with selected IPs who provide cost free solutions.
