Can you have an IVA if you have had one in the past?

I had an IVA over 6 years ago and it was settled early and has been cleared of my credit file... but I have ran up some debts due to a failed business venture totalling £35K and was wondering if this option would be available to me again

Yes you can apply for an IVA at any time. Your debt history will have to be explained again - as you know - but there is no rule that says you can't apply for an IVA because you have had one before.
