my partner started a course, but quit after one day. He had to borrow £5000 from a bank affiliated to the course. He told the course that he would no longer be attending and assumed they would return the money to the bank, as he never physically had it. The course people keep saying that they will sort it out, but have not. He keeps getting letters, now from a debt collection agency, and keeps ignoring them. i am worried that they can try to take my property for his debt. He is on the council tax register as he lives with my and our son, but I am the only one on the tenancy agreement and the contents all belong to me. I have no debts, apart from a student loan which I deal with every year. Please help me, as he will not let me try to negociate with the course or the bank.
