I would suggest that you take legal advice before allowing someone to use your property for their postal address, as a debt adviser this is outside of my specialist area of knowledge.
I would be mindful of the fact that if this person is in debt and does not maintain payments then you may have some inconvenience if creditors/collection agencies believe that they can pursue this person at your address.

It is best not to do this unless they are actually going to live with you. They will be committing fraud if they apply for any bank accounts or other forms of credit using your address. If you qualify for reductions in council tax as a single occupant you will lose it and if you are a tenant you will be breaking the terms of your tenancy by allowing someone else to ‘live’ at the address without permission of your landlord.
