Re: Does getting a job after getting a DRO affect me? ...

The main reason for having a DRO is that it freezes your debts while you are in debt difficulty. (It puts your debts into a moratorium).

If during the DRO your circumstances change and you are no longer in debt difficulty the DRO will cease and you can resume payment of your debts.

The DRO seems to be a very useful procedure for people with few assets and under £15,000 debt. There have been a few initial problems with them - not least the fact that only certain organisations can arrange them.

Contact your local CAB for advice on the DRO.
