my partner wants me to move in with her but she has debt collecters after her and court orders.will this affect me in anyway as she is also black listed with repossesions

It's possible that you'll need to prove which household items are your and which are your partners should a bailiff gain access to the property. This isn't always easy. As for your credit rating, you just need to keep an eye on your credit file by signing up for a service offered by the main credit reference agencies like Experian. If you do get linked in any way you can get what is called a Notice of Disassociation. You may also want to get your partner to get professional debt help. Try getting her to use the debt calculator on this site to assess her options. Good luck.
