I owned a pub which dissolved on 25/05/10 can companies chasing me for the debts

I owned a limited company which was a pub, it dissolved on 25/5/10 and i am now living with a new partner but i am getting chased by debt collectors for the companies debts, can they do this ? and am i liable to pay the debts ?
