Can debt collectors take any goods from my house for my stepsons debts that dont belong to him ?
He currently owes £7000 (ish) to 4 different creditors. he is currently unemployed and just ignores all the letters and has nothing except clothes . And how can i prove he doesnt own anything in the house when i dont have any receipts for them ?

Debt collectors are not bailiffs.
They do not have power to seize goods at all. If your stepson had county court judgments and ignored them; bailiffs could get involved, and they have the power to seize goods.
Bailiffs don't generally want to seize goods though, They want the money. Just as debt collectors do. Just as the letters and phone calls from "customer assistance" do.
Your stepson should address his debts before it gets to the bailiff stage. If a genuine bailiff calls it will be extremely expensive and potentially embarrassing,
