Not being able to repay your credit card debt

Like all debts, the first thing is not to ignore the letters and communicate with the companies you owe money in writing, explaining your position. Offer to pay a regular repayment of what you can afford, giving details of your income and expenditure. Also ask them to suspend interest and fees so you can stop getting further into debt. They may agree to this.
