Can CCJ payments be increased?

My partner has 2 ccjs from his previous marriage. With regard to one of them, it was agreed at the time of the CCJ being registered that he would pay £55 per month,. they have now contacted him to say that they wish to increase this by £10 a month and if he doesn't agree they want to see 3 years worth of bank statements.

Please can someone tell me if creditors are allowed to do this as i was under the impression that the repayment amount was set in stone with the courts??

Re: Can CCJ payments be increased?

The payment arrangement for the CCJ will always be reviewed by the creditor with a view to the payment being increased.
If you feel an increase is not possible you will need to justify your reason for this, usually by providing a full income and expenditure to them.

Their request for 3 years worth of bank statement does seem a little excessive, I would recommend you send around 6 months worth with an updated income and expenditure form.
