CCJ stands for County Court Judgement. A CCJ is a judgement issued to you by the court informing you that you have failed to make repayments to your creditors. A payment schedule will then created based on your income and expenditure. Repayments are set at a level that you can realistically afford.

A CCJ will appear on your credit file for 6 years and will affect your ability to get loans, credit cards and other forms of finance. If you have no way of avoiding a CCJ get debt advice from a good debt help company or charity as soon as possible. The good selection of best ones are here on this website.
