When bankrupt do I still have to pay maintenance through CSA

I have a child from a previous relationship and am currently 14 weeks in arrears with payments to CSA, if I declare myself bankrupt will I still be liable for these payments?

Re: When bankrupt do I still have to pay maintenance through CSA

Yes you will continue to pay the CSA. Maintenance is not a debt and it will take priority over any Income Payments Order in bankruptcy.

The CSA have different powers to other creditors, they can even suspend your driving licence for non payment.
