The vehicle is registered in his name, but is kept at the property where i live. Will they check who the previous keepers are, if so, is there a cut off time peroid?
If a bailiff is collecting a debt which you owe he can only levy goods which are owned by you. If the car is registered in your son’s name the bailiff should not be able to take it. However, if the debt is in joint names the bailiff could take the car.
