These day all debts are linked to the individual and not a property so you will not be able to see if any debts are registered to your address that do not belong to you or your husband
If you are on the electoral roll, this will show on your credit file. It might be wise to obtain a copy of your credit report to show this to the bailiffs when they next call, or you could use other forms of identification such as a council tax bill, tenancy agreement or mortgage documents.
Also, if you know the person they are trying to contact, I would strongly advise you to contact them, if possible and advise them to contact the bailiff and arrange a payment plan otherwise the debt will only increase.
Alternatively, if the person is not known to you then contact the bailiff company to explain this and ask them to research further
