A debt adviser will be able to help you negotiate a lower payment and make the situation less stressful for you. Many debt advice charities and organisations are available to help people in your circumstances and they do it for free. Give one of them a call as soon as you can by looking at the home page where you will see a list of 'Leading Debt Advisors' such as the Debt Advice Foundation or CCCS.
“What we like most about the help the Debt Advice Foundation provide is it’s balanced and fast. You’ll get the right solution suggested confidentially in hours not days.”
