As tempting as the extra 10% off sales prices was it was the 27% APR that made me say no. I really didn’t realise how expensive store cards were until I started to read the small print. Wow what a shock.
If you’re not going to be in a position to pay back the full amount owed on the card at the end of the month, STOP. DO NOT DO IT. You pay for those clothes or appliances many times over.
I think there should be a big warning sign like on cigarette packets, at the tills and on the application forms on these. They can seriously damage your wealth.
