When you're married and in debt, actions speak louder than words

When you're married or in a relationship and in serious debt, the chances are your relationship is suffering.

We say for richer or poorer but most couples don't realize just how hard standing by a vow like that actually is.

Debt puts an almost impossible strain on any relationship and it's often what ends up not being said signals the end of the road.

That's why it's not just important to talk to your partner about your situation, but also talk to a debt charity about how you're going to get out of the position you're in TOGETHER!

Call me an old romantic but don't let money be the thing that destroys a good relationship. Deal with it and start over again.

In my experience, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and the same is true of debt related relationship breakdowns.
